I am very excited now i can write on my blog from my iPad with the
keyboard I got for christmas so now maybe I can update more. I hardly
ever go on the desktop and don't have a laptop so the ipad is all I
have time for with 4 kids anyways. Well big news for all of us when the
babies were 8 months old we got some amazing news we had been hoping for
we got orders and will be moving this spring back home to CA we can't
wait.
We also lost our first baby Gizmo our 5 year old Chi died
a very unexpected death she got a scratch on Tuesday but was not
getting better and we took her to the Vet on Thursday and they said they
thought she had a bleeding disorder but wanted to blood work to
conform. The Saturday night started throwing up blood so I took her to a
emergency vet who conformed the blood disorder and that she had no
platelets left. We
started giving her meds and a Monday morning we were supposed to take
her back to the vet to start her on chemo drugs but she was not even
able to walk at this point I rushed her to the Vet she was limp and I
was not even sure if they would keep her there or send us to the
emergency vet. They took her right back and then asked us to meet in one
of the rooms. The Dr came in and told me she did not make it. There was
nothing they could do and she just went down hill so fast and there was
nothing we could have done. It was a heartbreaking day for us. We will
always miss our first baby Gizmo.
We put our house on the
market in Sept/Oct and were very lucky and we were under contract by
Thanksgiving. The best part is that he was ok closing in February so we
will close on the house the week we plan to leave Charleston and we will
stay at a friends house till we pull out of town. So we were very lucky
that it all worked out so well for us.
So updates on the kids.
The
trio is one wow where has the last year gone? I guess with having 3
babies time flies by. It has been a crazy year filled with lots of
changes and lots going on.
M is doing so well he has started
cruising on the furniture and is the happiest most cuddliest child ever.
He got his first hair cut a few weeks ago and he is so handsome.He is
about 20lbs which is amazing since he started at tiny tiny 4.11lbs. Oh
my goodness does his have a vocabulary he must have 10-15 words all
ready and he has a lot to say and wants to be heard lol.
A is a
walking machine she started walking at about 11.5 months and since we
adjust back for them being 5 weeks early that means she was walking at
10.5 months crazy. A is about 18lbs now she has come a long way from
5.2lb baby. She is such a girly girl and loves to try and get in to
everything and has to be in the middle of everything all the time.
E
is my little peanut she weighs in at about 17.2lbs again amazing since
she started at 4.5lbs and a full 1-2in shorter then her brother and
sister. She just started crawling and is still not so sturdy nor does
she seem to enjoy it much right now. She is seeing a few specialist to
see if something is going on as to why she is so far behind her brother
and sister.
N is 4 he has been having some issues listening but I
guess that is the age. He is now out of most of his therapies and may
finish up the last 2 very soon. He has some issues adjusting to the
Trio but we are working on it. We are all working on it. He is so smart
and can't wait to move to CA and live near his Mema and Papa.
We
are doing good with all the kids and so far have been pretty lucky with
them and there health for the most part. We are a lot luckier then most
triplet parents we count our blessings everyday. I will be working on
blogging more and keeping more
up to date. I can't wait to blog about trip and how much fun we will
have on a cross country trip with a 4 year old and 3 15month olds.
